French Press produces a fuller, heavier cup with more body and texture. Because there is no paper filter, more of the coffee's natural oils and fine particles remain in the final brew.

30g coffee • 500g water • 200°F (93°C)
Ratio: 1:16.7
Grind: Coarse
Brew time: 4:30
Method
1. Add coffee
Add 30g of coarse-ground coffee to the French Press.
2. Add water
Pour in 500g of hot water, making sure all the coffee is saturated.
3. Steep
Place the lid on top and allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes.
4. Break the crust
Gently stir the surface to break the crust. Allow the coffee to settle for another 30 seconds.
5. Press & serve
Slowly press the plunger down and serve immediately.
Dialing in
Too bitter or heavy?
Use a coarser grind or reduce the brew time.
Too weak or sour?
Grind slightly finer or increase the brew time.
